We stayed on the third level with a beautiful view of the ocean. The climb up wasn't easy as there isn't Al elevator but it was beautiful and worth it. The place could use some updates as a burner on the stove top didn't work but otherwise, it was a great place.

Oceanfront Oasis

My husband and I just returned from a 7 day stay at this studio apartment and could not have been happier with our choice. The view of the ocean from the large sunny balcony was incredible. The covered area provided some shade as well. The wall of sliding glass doors was a special treat, allowing us to wake to the sight of the ocean. This is an end unit with privacy. The lower unit was occupied at the time and we could not hear a thing! It has a spacious bathroom with a shower, good closet space for two and a full eat-in kitchen. There is a shared washer and dryer which we took advantage of and really appreciated. We wanted for nothing while staying here! The rental company was easy to work with, had great suggestions for activities and companies to consult with, places to eat etc. When we had questions, they were answered promptly and concerns addressed immediately. The concierge service was very handy and booked our side trips to Dry Tortuga (a beautiful place to see and snorkel!) and backwater kayaking, snorkling, sailing on a catamaran with Eco Tours (only 6 people maximum!). We loved both adventures. There was roadside parking, watch the signs for where to park; we had no trouble finding a place to leave our vehicle. The unit is within walking distance to a dog park, beach and beachside restaurant and there was a craft fair within walking distance on Sunday. We generally walked the 1.25 miles to Duvall street and felt entirely safe in the neighborhood. We walked A LOT on this vacation, but by choice. Be advised this studio is on the 3rd floor, stairs only! Parking is cramped toward downtown, and you may need to pay to park. We often walked to the harbor and watch the cruise ships leave port on a nightly basis. There are SO many places to choose to rent in Key West but if you are looking for a quiet location with a truly amazing view, you can not beat this studio. When we revisit the Keys, we will be staying at Casa Atlantica!
