4 shuttle boats will leave the Sands Dock to the lighthouse at 8.30 am, 9.30 am, 10.30 am, and 11.30 am. Those wishing to be part of the fun are suggested to check-in or complete the registration 30 minutes before the sail time. The event falls on August 10 (Saturday), which marks a fun day at the lighthouse where you would savor the cool ocean breezes.

4 Shuttle Boat Rides - Directions

The shuttle boats will leave at the right time as mentioned above. You must reach an hour before the sail time to complete the check-in formalities and get assisted with boarding. Take a look at the directions as per the official websites –

• From I-95 or US-1 drive east on Atlantic Blvd to N. Riverside Drive.
• Turn North on Riverside Drive.
• The Sands Harbor Resort boat dock is 1 1/2 blocks North on the West side of the road.
• Parking is across the street in the City (pay) parking lot.

To promote the “history of the Hillsboro Lighthouse Station and the Hillsboro Inlet area” through the preservation of artifacts and structures, public access tours, and education, the Hillsboro Lighthouse Preservation Society was established in 1997.
