Every year in June, Florida hosts the Caribbean Food & Rum Festival where attendees get to sample their way through the most delicious Caribbean culinary extravaganza. However, this festival benefits people with low income and disadvantaged students. The Organizers of the event raise awareness and funds for the Galleon Foundation to provide mentoring initiatives and student scholarships in the South Florida Region.
